Order terms
Short and to the point: what you are buying, how the price is worked out, when you pay, and what happens if the work is not right.
Who sells
Orders are taken by NASISS MTÜ, Tallinn, Estonia. For any question write to contact@ndy.ee, the artist answers personally. Payment details come with the invoice.
Registry code: 80557099. Address: Harju maakond, Tallinn, Haabersti linnaosa, Järveotsa tee 29-110, 13520.
What you receive
A portrait drawn by hand from your photographs. The finished work is delivered as a file. Canvas printing is a separate service: if you choose it, the work arrives printed and stretched on a frame, ready to hang.
Price
The price is the artwork plus the print. The artwork is 65 € for a portrait of one person, and each further person adds 20 €. The print depends on the canvas size. You can work out the whole sum on the commissions page. For more than twelve people in one portrait, the price is agreed separately.
Payment
A 50% deposit, and after that the artist starts the work. You pay the rest once you have approved the finished portrait. Payment goes to the association's bank account.
Timing
From the deposit to the finished work takes between one and fourteen days, depending on complexity. If the date moves, the artist tells you in advance rather than after the fact.
Revisions
You see the work in progress and can ask for changes before it goes to print. How much is adjusted is agreed as the work goes: usually pose, background or colour, not drawing the whole thing again.
Delivery
By courier 8 €. By parcel machine 3 €, for sizes up to 40 × 60 cm. In Tallinn you can collect the work yourself. The file arrives by email and needs no delivery.
Cancelling an order
A portrait printed on canvas is an item made to your personal order. The usual right to return a purchase within 14 days does not apply to such items (võlaõigusseadus, the Estonian Law of Obligations Act, § 53 (4) 2 and 3).
As long as the artist has not started drawing, you can cancel the order and the deposit comes back in full. Once the work has started, you get back the part of the deposit that does not cover what has already been done.
If you buy the file only, without printing, it is not an item but digital content, and the rule is different: the right to withdraw within 14 days applies until the file has been sent to you. Before sending it we will ask for your consent to receive it before the deadline is over, and for your confirmation that you know you lose the right to withdraw (võlaõigusseadus § 53 (4) 7¹).
If something is wrong
If you find a fault (damage from printing or delivery, a flawed canvas), write to contact@ndy.ee and we will put it right. A difference of taste is not a fault: that is exactly why the work is shown in progress and changes are made before printing.
If we cannot agree
If we do not reach an agreement, the dispute can be referred to the Consumer Disputes Committee (Tarbijavaidluste komisjon) at the Estonian Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority: ttja.ee/tarbijavaidluste-komisjon. Write to us first at contact@ndy.ee - that is usually faster and simpler.
