Question 1

How long does a portrait take?

Accepted Answer

From the deposit to the finished work takes between one and fourteen days, depending on complexity. If the date moves, the artist tells you in advance rather than after the fact.

Question 2

How much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

A portrait of a person starts from 65 €, each additional person adds 20 €. An animal portrait starts from 40 €, a car from 50 €. Printing on canvas is separate, and the price depends on the size. If there are more than 12 people in the portrait, we will agree the price separately.

Question 3

Which photos work?

Accepted Answer

1-5 photos with faces clearly visible. Straight from your phone is fine. JPEG, PNG or WebP will do, up to 4 MB together.

Question 4

What do I get - a file or a canvas print?

Accepted Answer

A portrait drawn by hand from your photographs. The finished work is delivered as a file. Canvas printing is a separate service: if you choose it, the work arrives printed and stretched on a frame, ready to hang. The calculator has 8 sizes - from 30 × 40 to 120 × 180 cm. By courier 8 €. By parcel machine 3 €, for sizes up to 40 × 60 cm. In Tallinn you can collect the work yourself. The file arrives by email and needs no delivery.

Question 5

How and when do I pay?

Accepted Answer

A 50% deposit, and after that the artist starts the work. You pay the rest before printing. Payment goes to the association's bank account.

Question 6

Can I ask for changes?

Accepted Answer

You see the work in progress and can ask for changes before it goes to print. How much is adjusted is agreed as the work goes: usually pose, background or colour, not drawing the whole thing again.
